Tomamu boasts as many as 16 different runs that cater to all levels of skiers in a cold environment blessed with snow that goes a level above powder snow; silky snow. In 2005, Tomamu began a special project to open up the off-piste terrain and allow skiers to truly experience the mountain in winter. After registering to ski in the Experts Only Area, advanced skiers can freely access some of Tomamu’s great off-piste terrain and tree runs. Tomamu also conducts cat ski tours and Japan’s only heliski tours in neighbouring mountains.
The scale, perfect snow, and geography make this a dream vacation destination. Tomamu will satisfy all skiers and boarders powder snow desires.
Families will enjoy skiing in the large story themed family ski area “Adventure Mountain” while improving their skills at the same time.
In Tomamu’s “Slope Style” terrain park, there are various features including one of Japan’s largest halfpipes that freestyle skiers and snowboarders of all levels can enjoy.
Tomamu caters to just about all types of skiers from families to advanced skiers.
